Global Talent 2050

Connecting Great People & Great Ideas for the 21st Century

College of Global Talents, Zhuhai, China

What is Global Talent 2050?

The Global Talent 2050 platform is the brainchild of esteemed Professor Edmund Kwok, the Dean of the College of Global Talents at the Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai, southern China. Its primary aim is to establish and maintain the pooling of international talent, knowledge and resources for studies of global issues.  It seeks to bring forth futures perspectives and insights into vital areas of inquiry.

Another key component of GT2050 is to encourage the full development of the talents and aptitudes of all those involved. This firstly involves the more “senior” participants: facilitators, academics, researchers, and teachers. The second group is its younger participants, as the GT2050 platform seeks the “enlightenment” of students via a holistic approach to learning. Besides traditional academic foci, GT2050 has a goal to strengthen the students’ sense of self, leadership skills, ethical development and psychological well-being.

The GT2050 seeks to strengthen the future lives and careers of all those involved.
