About College
Introduction


College of Global Talents (CGT in short) is a school of higher education established in October 2016 by Beijing Institute of Technology, Zhuhai (BITZH) focusing on collaborations with American universities. It is a pioneer school of BITZH to implement strategy of internationalization.

So far, CGT has established a number of joint undergraduate degree programs with American universities. These include:

  Accounting, (a 3+2 program agreement) with Mercer University
Applied Statistics (a 4+1 program agreement, Financial Statistics Concentration) with Georgetown University
Computer Science and Technology (a 2+3 program agreement) with Pace University
Financial Engineering (a 2+2 program agreement) with Pace University
Financial Management (a 3+2 program agreement) with the University of New Mexico
International Business (a 2+2 program agreement) with the University of Kentucky
Marketing (a 2+2 program agreement) with the University of Kentucky

CGT builds upon the tradition of the liberal arts colleges and embraces the perspective of a learning community where students develop the knowledge, skills, and habits necessary to succeed in their lives and chosen professions. CGT is uniquely dedicated to the integration of business education and liberal arts education, blending American and Chinese cultures. CGT is devoted to developing the life and learning skills essential for our students to become responsible global citizens serving China and the world.

At CGT, English is the medium of instruction except for courses required by China's Ministry of Education. CGT faculty members are recruited internationally with most of them having relevant doctorates from renowned overseas universities, professional qualifications and industry experience.
